Introducing Our New Olive Chair

We’re excited to introduce you to the latest addition in our ever growing range of indoor/outdoor cafe chairs. The ‘Olive’ chair is a stunning polypropylene chair with a contemporary aesthetic and a stylish black gloss finish.

This super chair takes its inspiration from French designers, Rowan and Erwan Bourollec,whose ‘vegetal’ chair was inspired by their love of nature and their passion for including aspects of nature into their designs.

The goal of the original vegetal chair was to create a chair inspired by nature which simultaneously incorporated stability, strength, and comfort. Flat, branch like ribs are intertwined in an asymmetrical manner to form the shell of the seat which is an irregular circle shape supported by four legs which give the impression that they are popping up from the ground. We feel the Olive chair does a pretty good job of creating that same feeling.

Comfortable and lightweight

Our Olive chair has a casual laid back feel to it and can be used on its own or with a cushion placed inside for some additional padding. Made from one piece of polypropylene which has been UV treated, it’s ideal for indoor and outdoor use, adding to its versatility.

Lightweight and easily moved from one place to another, it can also be stacked up to 3 high, which is a bonus if you happen to be short on storage space. This chair is also low in maintenance since all it requires is a quick wipe over with a damp cloth to remove any sticky marks or dust, followed by a buff with a dry cloth.

Easy to style

If you’re in the throes of setting up an outside patio area then this chair is sure to attract many admiring glances. It would look fantastic placed around glossy black cafe tables with white parasols for a chic and elegant dining area. Or alternatively, how about seating them around vivid red cafe tables to create a winning combo of stylish chic.
