A Black and White Design For Your Cafe – Why Not?

Black and white is a timeless duo and one which can be used to great effect in your café’s interior design. Stripping your design back to black and white might not have crossed your mind, but if it’s visual impact that you’re after, then this is one sure fire way of achieving it. Total opposites, black and white works really well in a design concept.

Be bold 

The key to keeping your interior looking big and bright is to use stark white on your walls so that the light bounces off it, and introduce black accents with furniture and accessories. To add a little more punch, why not add some wall panels in black. The great thing about such a simple colour palette is that you can be bold with patterns and an eye catching design. To keep things simple choose the same style of furniture throughout in shades of black or white. Industrial theme

Black and white works particularly well in an industrial theme provided you don’t go overboard with black, which can give an oppressive feel. This could be an area that you place a couple of sofas or tub chairs for customers to relax in with a newspaper and a coffee.

Contemporary feel

If you’re after a more contemporary feel then keep your walls white and use a glossy black floor. Because black and white is a classic, it’s never going to go out favour, which makes it a great choice for a cafe interior. You can easily upgrade your look as and when by introducing small accents of a bright colour.
